Job Description

Yahoo Creative is seeking a Designer to deliver world-class advertising solutions. This role involves coordinating campaign deliverables from concept to build, reviewing briefs, participating in kickoff calls, and making independent design decisions. The designer will create pre-sale pitch mocks and post-sale assets, ensuring high-quality execution of proprietary formats across Yahoo's publishers. The ideal candidate is curious, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, with strong graphic design fundamentals and experience in interactive/web graphic design.

  • Review campaign briefs to identify how best to set up the campaign for success
  • Participate in kickoff calls with other Yahoo partners to review creative specs, brainstorm and set deadline expectations
  • Ability to make design decisions independently to create top quality and high performing ads
  • Create pre-sale pitch mocks and post-sale assets in an organised manner with a clear file structure
  • Hand off design assets to spec with clear direction for engineers to build post sale ad units
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Efficiently self manage your daily schedule of high volume and high revenue projects, hitting deadlines and communicating effectively
  • Internship/work experience in an interactive/web graphic design role, preferably in advertising and marketing
  • Some experience with layout programs such as Sketch/Figma
  • Strong command of the full Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with optimising and editing video formats
  • Basic knowledge of interactivity, motion graphics and animation
  • Comfortable with the Adobe Creative Cloud workflow, libraries and font system
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with some real world experience
