Production Manager (TEMP)
Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.
Our Glendale, CA office is looking for an experienced Temporary Production Manager who will have an essential role in production. You will be responsible for helping the Line Producer to set up and manage day-to-day production activities, including guaranteeing the respect of the schedules and the quality of the deliverables to reach the objectives defined by the production. You will work closely with the VP of Production, Line Producer, CG Supervisor, and Department Supervisors to maintain schedules and manage planning changes as requested or required.
This role is located onsite in our Glendale, CA office.
About the role:
- Demonstrate a high level of experience with all parts of the CG animation production pipeline, from story department to final delivery, in a professional production environment.
- Deal with confidential information and material in a discrete and professional manner at all times.
- Personnel management, team building, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain a patient and empathetic nature while dealing with artistic personalities and other team members
- Be available, proactive, and a problem solver with a flexible approach to your work, as well as the ability and initiative to take on extra tasks when required.
About you:
- 3+ years in CG animated series production in a management role.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel, MS Project or equivalent, and Autodesk Flow Production Tracking (Shotgrid).
- Expert organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to anticipate and deal with an ever-changing production environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material.
- Ability to work well under pressure/deadlines.

Salary Range: $1560/week - $1826.92/week
