AffirmedRx is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer to drive business growth by responding to client and prospect requests such as RFPs, RFIs, and BAFOs. This role involves managing proposal development, creating customized content, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring quality assurance to secure new business and renew contracts, contributing to the company's mission of improving healthcare outcomes.

These include RFPs, RFIs, BAFOs, capability documents, and other customized requests. Your expertise will contribute to winning new business, renewing existing contracts, and representing AffirmedRx’s commitment to excellence.</p><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What you will do:</h3><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Proposal Development and Management:</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Take ownership of assigned proposal tasks, managing day-to-day activities to deliver high-quality work</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Work within a proposal collaboration tool to organize and populate content effectively</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Support supplemental projects and administrative tasks related to proposal development</li></ul><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Content Creation and Customization:</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Write, edit, and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, relevance, and alignment with client needs</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Research prospects to tailor content to their industry, challenges, and culture</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Format and finalize proposals to reflect AffirmedRx’s brand and professional standards</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Review and copyedit materials developed by peers and colleagues to maintain consistency and quality</li></ul><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Collaboration and Communication:</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Collaborate closely with proposal team members, Sales, Pricing, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Partner with internal teams to create visually compelling graphical representations of written material</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Participate in database updates to maintain accurate and current proposal content</li></ul><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Process Improvement and Quality Assurance:</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in proposal development processes</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with proposal guidelines and best practices</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Maintain a proactive approach to refining workflows for efficiency and effectiveness</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ensure all deliverables meet AffirmedRx’s high standards for content and presentation</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What you need:</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Bachelor’s degree in in English, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience required</li><li class="leading-relaxed">5-7 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or healthcare industry</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong service-oriented mindset with high personal standards and a proactive, hands-on work style</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Positive and professional demeanor, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and personalities</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Membership in the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) or a willingness to obtain it</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar and syntax</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines efficiently</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze challenges and present clear, actionable solutions</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Willingness to travel 10-20%</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8
