The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end U.S. payroll operations using Workday Payroll and OneSource Virtual (OSV). This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and coordination with external partners for tax activities. The specialist will process payrolls, handle tax filings, review reports, maintain employee records, respond to employee inquiries, support year-end activities, monitor tax notices, and assist with payroll-related projects. The candidate must have experience in a multi-state environment.

<div><p><strong>About the Role:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to support our end-to-end U.S. payroll operations using Workday Payroll and OneSource Virtual (OSV) for tax processing and filing. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and coordination with external partners to manage tax activities and reporting.</p>
<h1><strong>Who You Are:</strong></h1>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of U.S. payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll is required.</li>
<li>Familiarity with OneSource Virtual (OSV) payroll tax services, including tax filing and amendment processes (preferred).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of U.S. payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and pre/post-tax deductions.</li>
<li>Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.</li>
<li>Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).</li>
<li>Experience supporting Workday payroll implementations or enhancements.</li>
<li>Exposure to international payrolls or coordination with global payroll providers is a plus.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly U.S. payrolls in Workday, including validation, auditing, and reconciliation of payroll data.</li>
<li>Partner with OSV to coordinate payroll tax filings, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate federal, state, and local tax submissions.</li>
<li>Review Workday-generated payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholding summaries for accuracy.</li>
<li>Maintain and audit employee records, pay elements, and tax setups in Workday.</li>
<li>Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, earnings statements, tax withholdings, and Workday self-service functions.</li>
<li>Support year-end activities including W-2 review, balancing, and reconciliation in collaboration with OSV.</li>
<li>Monitor payroll tickets, tax notices, and amendments submitted to OSV, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with deadlines.</li>
<li>Assist with payroll-related projects such as system testing, implementation of new earnings/deductions codes, and process documentation.</li>
<li>Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring alignment with internal controls and best practices.</li>
</ul>
