Lead Software Engineer in Test

Lead SDET with 8+ years experience in software development (C#, Java, Python or Ruby), quality assurance methodologies, test frameworks, and automation tools. Experience in back-end APIs, systems integration, and leading quality engineering practices is required. Must have strong communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.

What you will do: <ul><li>As a Lead Software Engineer in Test, you will be a key contributor on complex projects and initiatives, developing new test strategies and automation concepts. </li><li>Establish quality engineering, automation testing, and continuous integration practices with an emphasis on back-end APIs and systems integration</li><li>Work with multiple teams spread across geographies for continuous improvements, innovate and own initiatives and ensure those are adopted and rolled out successfully</li><li>Design and develop frameworks and robust automation test scripts at both Unit and integration level. (Controller and UI)</li><li>Conduct code reviews to manage automation code quality and guide teams for improvements and adherence to best practices</li><li>Works on ongoing projects and assignments of diverse scope apply broader knowledge of industry standards/practices and own complete quality for module/s with minimal to no supervision needed</li><li>Work closely with product and development teams for scoping/sizing after clarifying requirements and create the strategy and technical design for quality delivery and help others on the same within and across teams</li><li>Participate in sprint planning meetings and daily stand-ups and work with teams to mitigate any blockers and adapt to changing needs in a fast-moving environment </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field</li><li>8+ years of software development experience (in C#, Java, Python or Ruby)</li><li>Responsible and owner for ensuring quality criteria is met for all code or services delivered meeting the set timelines, working with other engineers</li><li>Provides a broader and forward- looking perspective in problem solving, determines processes and provides technical direction to others around the completion of project goals</li><li>Networks with key contacts outside area of expertise</li><li>Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills</li><li>Exceptional understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies </li><li>8+ years of experience writing test frameworks and using automation tools while guiding others </li></ul>
