Cloud Services Engineer

ECI is seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and qualified Cloud Services Engineer to join our Cloud Services Technology team. In this role, you will be the technical lead and escalation point for implementing and maintaining all aspects of our client’s Private and Public Cloud technologies globally. This includes daily support incidents, troubleshooting server issues, hardware/software installations and alert management. You will be responsible for deploying/upgrading Private/Public Cloud solutions, maintaining production and disaster recovery environments, contributing to knowledge base of support issues, troubleshooting and supporting client recovery in the event of system failure, providing Tier 2 escalation to Client’s Support Team, engaging in self-directed continuous improvement and learning of Private/Public Cloud products, collaborating cross-functionality to ensure successful delivery of project implementations, migrations, and upgrades, and identifying areas of technical challenge and potential improvement across the client’s IT infrastructure systems and technical processes.

The Opportunity: ECI is seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and qualified Cloud Services Engineer to join our Cloud Services Technology team. In this role, you will be the technical lead and escalation point for implementing and maintaining all aspects of our client’s Private and Public Cloud technologies globally. This includes daily support incidents, troubleshooting server issues, hardware/software installations and alert management. Multiple internal departments will depend on your technical expertise daily, but that’s not all! The successful Cloud Services Engineer will not only have the technical prowess to delight their internal customers, but also be a prolific, concise communicator with the highest level of professionalism. In addition, the Cloud Services Engineer will thrive in a multitasking, fast paced and metrics driven environment as well as have an extraordinary ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly and efficiently. This is a Onsite role. What you will do:  <ul><li>Provide leadership, direction, and supervision and day-to-day operational and technical implementation:</li> <ul><li>Deploy/upgrade Private/Public Cloud solutions (production and disaster recovery) for new and existing Clients</li></ul>
<li>Maintenance</li> <ul><li>Maintain Private/Public Cloud production and disaster recovery environment which including testing and turn up</li><li>Contribute to knowledge base of support issues and resolutions.</li></ul>
<li>Troubleshooting</li> <ul><li>Support recovery of clients’ environment in the event of systems failure or disaster</li><li>Provide Tier 2 escalation to Client’s Support Team to diagnose and resolve issues in client’s environments, coordinating with internal resources and vendors.</li></ul>
<li>Engage in self-directed continuous improvement and learning of Private/Public Cloud products:</li><li>Investigate and follow both industry and ECI best practices and updates ECI standards.</li><li>Documents standards</li><li>Participate in scheduled Support and Product Team meetings.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionality to ensure successful delivery of project implementations, migrations, and upgrades.</li><li>Identify areas of technical challenge and potential improvement across the client’s IT infrastructure systems and technical processes </li></ul>
Who you are: <li>Minimum 5+ years of experience.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of and comprehensive experience in deploying and managing:</li> <ul><li>Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022</li><li>Multi-Site and Multi-Forest Active Directory and DFS</li><li>PowerShell Experience</li><li>Multi-Tenant Exchange 2010/2013/2016</li><li>Microsoft Office 365 / Azure Platform (Networking, VM Hosting, Files, AVD)</li><li>Microsoft AD Connect, SPO, Teams, PowerBi, Azure Hybrid AD Setup</li><li>Microsoft Intune MDM / MAM</li><li>Knowledge of VMware products and architectures required</li><li>Knowledge of SPAM filtering tools</li><li>Strong understanding of cyber-security concepts, e.g., MFA or Next-gen security design, Conditional Access, DLP, Identity Management </li></ul>
Bonus points if you have: <ul><li>Financial Industry Experience including familiarity with market vendor applications</li><li>Understanding of network and infrastructure troubleshooting including IaaS, VDI, and SaaS</li><li>Experience with Linux or Solaris</li><li>Experience deploying and managing Exchange with knowledge of HA</li><li>Ability to manage all aspects of AD\Exchange with PowerShell</li><li>Knowledge of and comprehensive experience in deploying and managing:</li><li>Microsoft MFA / DUO 2FA</li><li>Proofpoint Email Protection</li><li>Citrix XenApp 6.5/7.15</li><li>Citrix NetScaler</li><li>SCOM or DPM </li></ul>
