Motorola Solutions is seeking a dynamic Account Manager for the Balkans region. This role involves promoting and marketing MSI's security solutions, managing sales opportunities via Salesforce.com, and supporting the Regional Sales Director in achieving sales objectives. The manager will provide technical guidance, assist with installations, attend trade shows, and gather market feedback. Key requirements include 5-10 years of industry experience, strong negotiation and relationship management skills, and a thorough understanding of security sales cycles.
Must have:

  • Attend trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Participate in development of training materials.
  • Provide feedback about partner and end-user requirements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings.
  • 5-10 years+ of experience in the Industry.
  • Travel over 50%.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager Balkans:

  • Promote and market MSI's products and services within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work and regularly with discipline, track sales activities with all partners, end-users and where applicable, distributors.
  • Manage opportunities using Salesforce.com, MSI's chosen lead and project tracking software database.
  • Support MSI's sales activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for the respective MSI products and services.
  • Support the Regional Sales Director in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Provide information to prospective customers such as our pricing, terms of sales, and delivery methods.
  • Provide basic technical guidance and product training to partners and end-users to help them understand how to use our products.
  • Assist with the supervision of installations at end-user sites, especially for key accounts, to ensure proper commissioning of the system and satisfaction of customer expectations and requirements.
  • Attend trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Participate in the development of training materials for our products.
  • Provide feedback about partner and end-user requirements to MSI's other departments to help develop product improvements and new product releases.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings and compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to MSI's head office.

Basic Requirements

Key qualifications and skills of the Regional Sales Manager:

  • Language skills: fluent in the local language, fluent in English
  • 5-10 years+ of experience in the Industry
  • Effective and proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
  • Thorough understanding of security sales cycles
  • Understanding of Commercial accounts, competitive landscape and customer procurement processes
  • Full and valid Driving license
  • Travel Requirements: over 50%
