As an Account Strategist, Engage, you'll be working with a diverse range of advertising companies, big and small. Your goal is to help each client find the perfect advertising solution using Google's latest products and services. You'll use your knowledge of digital media and sales skills to help businesses grow. You'll be the face of Google for your clients, building strong relationships, understanding their needs, and developing strategies to reach a wider audience. This role involves frequent phone consultations and presentations, working in a fast-paced environment, and achieving ambitious business goals. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring their success through Google's advertising solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in sales, account management, marketing, or consulting
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Drive for achieving business and productivity goals
Good to have:
  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop
  • Experience with Google Ads and online advertising
  • Experience in advertising or media sales in Italy
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of client needs and business goals

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, account management, marketing, or a consulting role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Italy, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.

Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables brands to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

In this role, you will build relationships by conducting phone consultations and business pitches with a large portfolio of clients. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, reaching for ambitious business and productivity goals. You will provide a solution promoting partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients while driving incremental business agreements through our advertising solutions.
