As Aerospace Design Repair Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Create and manage an aerospace repair technical package and provide continued support as a task owner.
  • Author / define re-manufacture tasks, including technical substantiation.
  • Support the approval process, including the further validation if required.
  • Leading technical discussions with technical Specialists. Manage the Project effectively for timely completion.
  • Support the implementation of the instructions & support to gain FAIr.
  • Optimize Measurement processes to ensure effective flow through MRO facilities.
  • Support ME for transferring repair capability from an existing source

Qualifications;

  • 8+ years of Aerospace Design experience
  • Understanding of certification (inc. Aircraft Interface) and continued airworthiness requirements.
  • Understanding on AS9102 and ability to support FAIr process.
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing
  • Full life cycle product development experience

Location: Indianapolis, IN

 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $160k 

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
