Job Description

The Account Technical Executive at Cadence is responsible for developing and driving strategies for the adoption and growth of Cadence solutions at targeted accounts. This role involves leading pre/post-sales campaigns, managing software adoption, and fostering customer relationships. It requires deep technical knowledge in custom/analog, mixed-signal, digital implementation, and verification flows, along with an understanding of semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems and Cadence tools. The executive will coordinate sales and field AE resources, and facilitate customer interaction with Cadence Product Marketing/Engineering.
Must have:
  • Develop and drive strategy for adoption and growth of Cadence solutions
  • Lead pre/post-sales campaigns and manage software adoption
  • Foster and grow customer relationships
  • Deep technical knowledge of custom/analog and mixed signal flows
  • Experience with Digital implementation flows (synthesis, place & route and signoff)
  • Experience with functional and formal verification tools/methodology, VIP
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing eco-systems
  • Deep understanding of Cadence tools, flows and solutions
  • Ability to effectively translate customer needs to viable solutions
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • Min. 7 years in sales and account management or as an Applications Engineer or Design Engineer
  • Deep understanding of electronic systems and HW design
  • US citizenship required
  • Must be located in Southern California or willing to relocate
Good to have:
  • Working knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques such as Miller Heiman

Account Technical Executive is responsible for developing and driving strategy for adoption and growth of Cadence solutions at targeted accounts

The role requires working in a large team environment including: leadership for directing and coordinating sales and field AE resources, coordination/facilitation of customer interaction between Cadence Product Marketing/Engineering, understanding of the core technology requirements in the custom/analog and digital implementation and/or functional/formal verification space, coordination of sales strategies and efforts across worldwide customer operations.

US citizenship required.

Location; Must be located in Southern California or willing relocate.

  • Leading pre/post-sales campaigns, managing and growing software adoption in the territory for all Cadence software platform.
  • Territory being targeted will be defined as a set of large/small accounts with significant Cadence business (existing or potential).
  • The ability to foster and grow customer relationships throughout all levels of the customer organization to better connect our solutions with the customer's problems/business challenges and insure roadmap alignment for long term success.
  • Working knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques such as Miller Heiman a plus.
  • Must have a deep technical knowledge and understanding of custom/analog and mixed signal flows, and/or Digital implementation flows (synthesis, place & route and signoff) and/or experience with functional and formal verification tools/methodology, VIP. Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing eco-systems.
  • Deep understanding of Cadence tools, flows and solutions and the ability to effectively translate customer needs to viable solutions internally to Cadence technical teams.

Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering degree. Technical engineering and sales experience required.
  • Min. 7 years in sales and account management or as a Applications Engineer or Design Engineer with proven track record of success
  • Deep understanding of electronic systems and HW design
