Job Description

The Apple Mac Success Leader is responsible for managing Mac personnel and assisting Enterprise Customers on a successful Mac adoption journey, aiming to increase sales revenue and gross margin for Mac platform adoption. This role involves working alongside the Sales organization to grow sales revenue, acquire net-new accounts, and collaborating with PPM and Apple channel teams. The individual will act as an internal and customer-facing resource for the Zones Solutions team, driving relationships and alliances with field sales and Apple’s channel sales organization. Key responsibilities include evangelizing Mac solutions, supporting sales training and marketing activities, driving Mac technology pipeline and deal closure, and managing the Apple Mac solution pipeline to achieve growth metrics.

Position Overview:
 
The Apple Mac Success Leader is responsible for managing Mac personnel and assisting Enterprise Customers on a successful Mac adoption journey. This role is responsible for increasing sales revenue and gross margin for Mac platform adoption. This individual will work alongside the Sales organization to grow sales revenue, acquire net-new accounts, and work closely with PPM and Apple channel teams. They will also act as an internal and customer-facing resource working with the Zones Solutions team to drive relationships and alliances with field sales and Apple’s channel sales organization.
 
The Mac Success Leader will act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day administration of Zones’ focus on Mac adoption, executing the Business Plan, driving opportunities, managing pipeline, and administering systems and processes.
 
The Apple Mac Success Leader will develop and maintain exceptionally strong knowledge of the Mac platform and key value propositions. In-depth knowledge of Mac deployment tools and best practices is required.
 
What you’ll do as the  Apple Mac Success Leader:

  • Achieve Mac-specific growth metrics in revenue, gross margin, buying customers, and Mac Market Share with an emphasis on Apple Field seller awareness and engagement with Zones sellers
  • Effectively evangelize and market the core benefits of Mac solutions/services and programs to Zones sales staff, driving results and engagement
  • Support effective sales training (virtual, in-region), and marketing activities/events, to create enthusiasm around Apple’s latest Mac offerings and benefits
  • Effectively drive pipeline and deal closure of Mac technologies in partnership with Pre-sales and field selling roles (ATE/GATE, SA, et al.)
  • Own and track Apple’s Mac solution pipeline, including the review of open quotes and future opportunities to achieve quarterly growth metrics
  • Create a company-wide awareness campaign for sellers and become recognized as the go-to resource for assistance in driving accretive Mac revenue and gross profit on solutions
 
What you bring:
 
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field with 3+ years of strategic account management preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred; Specific Apple & Mac experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated customer relationship and consultative selling skills
  • Proven track record of business development or account management
  • Experience teaming collaboratively with field account teams in a high volume and fast-paced professional environment
  • Good understanding of technologies that drive solutions 
  • Good organizational and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective at developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Conducts business professionally in a corporate environment and anytime representing Zones
  • Proven ability to manage administrative duties timely
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be accountable for all deliverables
 
 
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $80,000-90,000
