Job Description

The Area Mech Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of mechanical equipment associated with RCID utilities across the Walt Disney World Resort. This field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing equipment such as generators, compressors, pumps, bailers, pipelines, conveyance systems and utility equipment. Daily inspections at lift stations and manholes are also required. Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies. Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required.
Must have:
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • 4 years of industrial mechanical experience
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

The Area Mech Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of mechanical equipment associated with RCID utilities across the Walt Disney World Resort. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $27.35 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, modify and repair equipment such as generators, compressors, pump, bailers, pipelines, conveyance systems and utility equipment

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
