We are seeking a highly experienced and certified ARGO Development Platform Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing ARGO-based banking solutions, specifically for Sales & Service, Lending, and Teller modules. The role requires end-to-end project execution within banking environments.
Must have:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain applications using the ARGO Development Platform.
  • Design and implement ARGO Sales & Service, Lending, and Teller modules with strong middle-tier and UI development.
  • Build integrations with legacy host systems, external services (e.g., eFunds, NADA, FFIEC), and internal banking systems via Web Services.
  • Create database schemas, stored procedures, and reporting tools (MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
  • Participate in the full SDLC including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Perform regression, system, and UAT testing for all code releases.
  • Manage source code using tools like Visual Studio and TFS.
  • Optimize application performance and resolve production-level defects.

Our challenge

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified ARGO Development Platform Engineer with deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ARGO-based banking solutions, particularly in Sales & Service, Lending, and Teller modules. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of ARGO development experience and a proven track record of end-to-end project execution within banking environments.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Atlanta, GA is $140k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain applications using the ARGO Development Platform.
  • Design and implement ARGO Sales & Service, Lending, and Teller modules with strong middle-tier and UI development.
  • Build integrations with legacy host systems, external services (e.g., eFunds, NADA, FFIEC), and internal banking systems via Web Services.
  • Create database schemas, stored procedures, and reporting tools (MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
  • Participate in the full SDLC including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Perform regression, system, and UAT testing for all code releases.
  • Manage source code using tools like Visual Studio and TFS.
  • Optimize application performance and resolve production-level defects.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on ARGO application development.
  • Hands-on experience with ARGO Sales & Service, CBRM, Lending, Teller Payments, and Loan Origination.
  • Strong knowledge of ARGO Middle Tier architecture and web-based application frameworks.
  • Certified ARGO Developer (preferred).
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, HTML/HTML5, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of database design and programmability (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers).
  • Familiarity with Java and frameworks like Apache Struts, Axis, and Tomcat is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across technical and business teams.
