Job Description
Valeo is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer for its AI4All team in Créteil. The role involves designing, integrating, and validating AI solutions, participating in design reviews, following development standards, and reporting progress. Candidates should have an Engineering or Master's degree with initial professional experience, advanced Python skills, expertise in RAG systems, LLM frameworks, database management (Qdrant, Firestore, PostgreSQL, BigQuery), cloud infrastructure (GCP, Vertex AI), containerization (Docker, GitHub Actions), API development (FastAPI, RESTful APIs), LLM training, data processing, and UI development (Streamlit, Gradio). Strong English and French are required.

- AI or cloud certifications.
- Publications or research in the field of AI.
Must Have:
- Design, integrate, and validate AI solutions respecting technical and economic requirements.
- Participate in design reviews with the team and suppliers.
- Follow good development practices and standards.
- Report progress and signal risks.
- Engineering or Master's degree, with initial professional experience (internship, apprenticeship or position).
- Advanced Python programming with expertise in RAG systems, LLM frameworks and AI development.
- Proficiency in database management (Qdrant, Firestore, PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
- Solid experience in cloud infrastructure (GCP, Vertex AI).
- Experience in containerization and CI/CD (Docker, GitHub Actions).
- API development skills (FastAPI, RESTful APIs).
- Expertise in LLM training, fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
- Data processing skills (batch processing, embedding, chunking).
- Experience in user interface development (Streamlit, Gradio).
- Proficiency in technical documentation (Mkdocs).
- Very good written and oral English and French.
