Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. This role involves securing and maintaining correct component parts and supplies required for the operation. Key duties include work area setup, fitting parts, operating hand tools, stacking products, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The position requires maintaining production records and checking materials for compliance with quality standards.
Good To Have:- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math preferred
Must Have:- Completes work area setup
- Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards
- Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
- Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures
- Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized
- Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports problems
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Maintains production records as required
- Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
- Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned
