Assistant Team Leader – ATL – Civil Large Engines (m/f/d)

Job Description:

The AT&C OPS CLE MRO team maintains and repairs Trent 1000 engines at the RRD Dahlewitz site. After the engine arrives from the customer, the team performs a pre-induction and disassembles the engine according to the respective work scope. The team is also responsible for rebuilding and preparing the engine for customer delivery. The team interfaces with a number of other departments that are important for the MRO process.

To support the leadership team, we are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Team Leader as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensuring HSE guidelines for the area of responsibility
• Coordinated management of a shift group regarding operational goal achievement (quality, deadlines, and costs)
• Participation in regular meetings to coordinate operational goals
• Implementation of operational personnel deployment planning as well as employee management and development (employee appraisals, vacation planning & PDRs)
• Continuous improvement and further development of internal processes and procedures

Your Qualifications:

• Completed specialized vocational training or vocational training with specialized professional experience
• Several years of experience in the development, manufacturing or maintenance assembly of engines required
• Strong sense of responsibility for the team, as well as quality and adherence to deadlines
• Independent and self-reliant way of working as well as extraordinary team and communication skills
• Good English skills in spoken and written
• Proficient in common IT systems (Office, SAP, BDE(Andon)) for creating transparency
• Willingness to work in shifts
