As an Associate Director, Paid Search, you will develop strategies and manage Paid Search accounts, collaborating with other channels to provide an integrated response to marketing goals. Responsibilities include developing team strategy, understanding client goals, managing relationships, ensuring best practices, and achieving KPIs. You'll be a point of escalation and problem-solver in a client-focused environment. This role requires experience in paid search, specifically within a digital agency, managing campaigns, understanding market development, and working with various media platforms. The role is hybrid, requiring 3-5 days in the office depending on location, and the compensation is hourly.

  • 5+ years of Paid Search experience in a digital agency.
  • Knowledge of Paid Search, market development, and trends.

Job Details

* This is a temporary, 40 hours per week, onsite, starting as soon as possible and running through May 31, 2026.
* There is potential for conversion to a permanent role at the end of the contract, depending on business needs and performance. If conversion occurs, it would be handled directly by the client.
*If you are hands-on in managing campaigns, has experience with large-scale projects, and has previously worked in a regulated industry (pharma, banking, healthcare, etc) this role is for you!
* You will be located at our client's office, in New York City or Chicago Proper.
* Hybrid remote/in-office. Requires 3-5 days in the office, depending on location.

You will develop the best strategies and management of Paid Search accounts. You will provide leadership across the business and collaborate with other channels to provide an integrated response to marketing goals.

Job Description:

You Will:

  • Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to paid search management, in cooperation with our client's in-house Paid Search & Marketing teams
  • Immerses self in clients' business: understanding their goals, external economic environment, industries; also know their business model, how it is performing and what success is
  • Work with our client's teams (Data & Analytics and Paid Media) to manage internal and external relationships as related to paid search strategy, team and performance
  • Work with the client services team to manage client relationships as related to paid search strategy, team and performance
  • Ensure best practice and new ideas in all paid search activities; ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Be a point of escalation, resolving problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Accountable for achievement of KPIs and deadlines across core client LOBs

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in Paid Search, specifically in a digital agency
  • Knowledge of Paid Search, market development and trends
  • Experience with how Paid Search / SEM works with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution
  • Broad range of experience managing across departments and direct response/branded campaigns
  • This is hybrid position

Additional Information:

The hourly pay range for this position is $50.63 - $60.82. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
