As the Budgeting & Planning Senior Associate, you will analyze financial data, make strategic decisions, and communicate findings to help Gojek Food evolve. You will prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts, analyze financial and non-financial information, review business performance, conduct market sizing, and benchmark with peers. This role offers valuable exposure to business strategy within a talented team, working towards the company's goals. The team is a dynamic and diverse group of 100+ professionals focused on aligning business strategies with financial results and driving innovation. They use efficient methods to gain insights and are driven by a collective passion for excellence and a love of food.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or consulting.
  • Fluent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Understanding of SQL is a plus

About the Role:

Are you ready to dive into a dynamic role as the Budgeting & Planning Associate for Gojek's FAM (Food, Ads, Merchant) Group? This is your chance to become a vital part of our Business team. You’ll be at the forefront of analyzing financial data, making strategic decisions, and delivering impactful communication to help Gojek Food evolve into the preferred platform for customers, merchants, and driver partners alike. You’ll gain valuable exposure to our business strategy while collaborating with a talented team to move closer to our big-picture goals. What you will do:
  • Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts, including tracking and monitoring actual results;
  • Prepare analysis of financial and non-financial information to provide recommendations for management’s decision making;
  • Review business performance and provide timely updates to management;
  • Conduct market/impact sizing for potential new revenue streams/initiatives;
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking with global/regional peers, analyzing annual reports and other public information;
  • Involve in initiatives to improve revenue and economics within Food, Ads, Merchant Group
  • What you will need:
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services industry, corporate strategy roles in technology companies, or consulting
  • Fluent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Understanding of SQL is a plus
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, financial modeling and communication skills to drive analysis and initiatives independently
