Responsibilities include managing partner relationships, serving as a liaison for technical onboarding and sales collaboration, prioritizing initiatives, resolving partner issues, conducting regular operational meetings and quarterly business reviews, and providing executive-level updates. The role also involves facilitating cross-functional collaboration, developing data merchandising collateral, documenting partner activation guidelines, and researching emerging partners and industry trends.
Must have:

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development, Partner Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and promote adoption of Yahoo’s most strategic ad tech and data partnerships. This individual will serve as a key member of the Yahoo DSP Business Development team, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal departments across a diverse array of products, technologies, and industry verticals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking and possess in-depth knowledge of the advertising technology sector, including expertise in audience and measurement data products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain operational relationships with partners and represent Yahoo's interests effectively.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners and internal stakeholders for technical onboarding, internal sales collaboration and training. With additional operational execution around workflows, go-to-market training, and communication initiatives.

  • Prioritize and coordinate the pipeline of collaborative initiatives between external partners and Yahoo stakeholders.

  • Track and resolve partner-related issues and escalations in a prompt and efficient manner.

  • Directly manage several key partner tasks, including:

    • Scheduling and conducting regular operational meetings and preparing agendas.

    • Organizing and leading quarterly business reviews.

  • Provide executive-level updates on all aspects of partnerships.

  • Facilitate strong internal cross-functional collaboration with Marketing/PR, Data Operations, Account Management, and specialized teams.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop data merchandising collateral that effectively communicates the value of partner offerings available on Yahoo DSP to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Document partner activation guidelines and work closely with product, training, and support teams to educate internal stakeholders on partners, solutions, and unique value propositions.

  • Conduct research on emerging partners and industry trends.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of partner business operations, including performance metrics, goals, product and technology offerings, and channel sales strategies, to provide relevant insights.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience in relationship management or business development.

  • Demonstrated consultative approach to partner management and relationship building.

  • Previous experience working with technical product managers.

  • Experience in audience, data, and performance advertising.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Solid quantitative analysis skills.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and ability to take ownership and build business.

  • Keen interest in staying at the forefront of programmatic advertising.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate rationale and objectives clearly.

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely execution.

  • Technical understanding of digital marketing advertising platforms and solutions.

The compensation for this position ranges from $102,000.00 - $212,500.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
