General Summary:

Job Duties:

- Creating performance models to anaylze and predict KPIs for Camera UCs
- Studying and identifying performance optimizations within the Camera IP and effective utilization of SOC infrastructure like system cache, MMU, QoS etc
- Creating the performance test plan for validation of Camera IP and work with cross-functional teams to execute the test plan
- Correlating pre-si and post-si camera performance KPIs

- 60%–80% workload for customer support; 20% onsite availability for business travel across APAC and China


 

The responsibilities of this role include: 
- Working under some supervision. 
- Providing some supervision/guidance to others. 
- Making decisions with a moderate impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct. 
- Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question; may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc. 
- Working within prescribed budget and resources. 
- Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework. 
- Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines. 
- Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of performance optimization or related work experience. 


The responsibilities of this role do not include: 
- Supervising direct reports. 
- Influence over key organizational decisions. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverages basic understanding of the camera processing pipeline and detailed knowledge of one or more blocks to work on slightly defined tasks related to one or more blocks throughout the design cycle; works under minimal supervision. 
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to debug simple issues at a block/system level. 
- Works to address customer/product requirements in functionality and results; understands impact of task work on customer needs. 
- Collaborates with team members and other camera teams throughout the design cycle on the design, development, and optimization of camera systems, hardware, and/or software. 
- Writes clear and detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and/or customers to use or implement output.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
