Job Details
Position Summary...
To provide customer service by coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities. Ensuring a zoned and stocked salesfloor and offering assistance to meet the customer’s shopping needs. This will be accomplished by maintaining and recovering merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Department Manager will function as a lead of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and customer traffic patterns.
What you'll do...
Provides excellent customer service by greeting all customers politely and courteously, assists customers by promoting products and services, locates merchandise and makes purchasing decisions, resolves customer-related issues and escalates concerns, if necessary.
Delegates, assists, and follows up on the completion of customer availability process (CAP) tasks - Working the section, CAP process for storage locations, selection storage.
Delegates, assists, and follows up on the completion of price changes and displays.
Delegates, assists, and follows up on the completion of assigned department modules.
Delegates and assists with tasks in required sales floor areas, as needed. Assists with merchandise recovery and zoning tasks.
Contributes to a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by adhering to Company guidelines and procedures, including completing safety sweep logs and confirming that displays are secure and free of debris.
Ensures associates take their breaks according to the coverage schedule.
Trains, coaches, and provides feedback to associates.
