Chief Technology Officer
Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a dynamic, team-oriented, player-coach to join our team as Chief Technology Officer. We are a sports tech and software development AI startup, one that seeks a candidate who is passionate about thriving in an entrepreneurial work culture and values sharing his/her vision and innovative ideas. Having recently launched two software solutions in the market, SportsBiz has rapidly established a growing leadership role in the business of sports.
PLEASE NOTE: The entire SportsBiz team is working exclusively for equity shares in the business and routine cash stipends.Our team will commence receiving salaries after the company’s successful fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, developers, and IT professionals.
- Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with its overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company's software applications and systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the company's technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology-related needs and challenges.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the company's technology infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree / PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Chief Technology Officer or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in Python, C++, C#, React, Node.js, PHP, SQL, and other relevant technologies. Unreal gaming engine expertise preferred.
- Knowledge of server architecture and infrastructure management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to vaticinate future technology trends and make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $155,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
