Position Overview

Tencent Cloud is seeking an experienced and driven International Project Manager – Cloud Services to oversee and coordinate both internal and external projects for our expanding international business. In this role, you will manage the delivery of services from partner providers, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders. With a focus on project execution, risk management, and service optimization, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of Tencent Cloud’s international projects. Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Organize and coordinate both internal and external projects related to Tencent Cloud's international business. Manage the delivery of services from partner providers, ensuring all project goals are met.
  • Resource and Progress Management: Oversee project progress, coordinate resources effectively, and ensure that all stakeholders work together to achieve project milestones.
  • Client & Provider Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between service providers and clients, clarifying client needs and understanding project processes. Coordinate team members to produce key project materials such as bidding documents, acceptance reports, and phase reports.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify project risks early and collaborate with pre-sales, product teams, and service providers to minimize delivery risks. Continuously optimize collaboration strategies, delivery processes, and problem-solving techniques to improve service quality for international projects.
  • Process Improvement: Lead efforts to enhance collaboration methods and service delivery processes, ensuring the highest standards of project execution and client satisfaction in international markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with more than 5 years of experience in project management or PMO operations, ideally in cloud computing, technology services, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing project delivery for international markets, with a focus on cloud computing, telecommunications, or technology services.
  • Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with international clients and teams. Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and evaluation to delivery and acceptance, with proven success in managing projects for key accounts.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work under pressure and execute tasks effectively, with a willingness to travel as needed.
  • A background in computer science, software development, or cloud computing is highly advantageous.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, IPMP, or equivalent are preferred.
