Pazu is seeking an experienced Legal Advisor specializing in Intellectual Property and copyright to provide legal guidance for protecting games and assets. Responsibilities include managing IP, ensuring copyright protection through agreements and analysis, drafting and negotiating various contracts, and staying updated on legal developments in the gaming industry. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Law and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must have:
- Advice on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights related to games, including trademarks and copyrights.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and industry standards.
- Draft and review agreements related to the creation, licensing, and use of copyrighted materials.
- Provide legal analysis and recommendations on potential copyright infringement issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to draft and negotiate various contracts, including licensing, development, and publishing agreements.
- Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in intellectual property law and gaming industry regulations.
- Conduct legal research to address specific issues and provide proactive legal advice.
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on intellectual property and copyrights.
- Previous experience as a legal advisor in a commercial company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- High-level English.
