Jellyfish is seeking a Content Manager to join their global digital marketing agency. Reporting to the Social Content Director, this role involves creating social media content for a key account, collaborating with project managers, editors, and designers. The position is hybrid, based near Berlin, Germany, but open to German speakers in other locations. Responsibilities include developing social media presence, managing content calendars, creating copy, working with designers, and building communities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, entertainment, and pop culture, with experience in platform business managers and content creation.
Must have:
  • Develop the social media presence for our client, helping grow reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
  • Support the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and create copy with oversight from the team.
  • Work with social designers on the creation of assets, partnering with clients.
  • Work with our team to build and manage communities.
  • Support the creative brainstorming, community management, short and long-form social copywriting, scriptwriting, reporting.
  • Support social coverage for live events and marketing and junket shoots by briefing and managing high profile entertainment talent.
  • Ensure content and ideas that align with creative strategy and fit for purpose.
  • Remain up to date with the new trends on social media and translate this to clients in a reactive way, for both paid and organic content.
  • Work with the project management team to ensure the success in time and on budget, delivery of briefs.
  • Follow internal processes including timing plans, content calendars, wash up reports.
  • Work with clients and main partners to receive briefs and important information.
  • 2+ years of experience working on social media.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Must be passionate about social media, entertainment and pop culture.
Good to have:
  • Experience with platform business managers (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok)
  • Experience creating various social media content types (static asset, short and long form video, Reels, TikTok, longer scripted pieces, GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes)
  • Experience running paid media campaigns, working with media agencies, and understanding media goals and paid creative best practices
  • Experience covering live events and working with talent on photo and video production shoots (within a marketing shoot or junket environment)
  • Experience building online communities and an understanding of fandom communities in social spaces
  • Experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
  • Experience working with clients by email, call or in-person
  • Experience in the entertainment industry
  • Experience working at a creative agency
