We are seeking a proven, strategic, and hands-on accounting leader to serve as our Corporate Controller. This role will be instrumental in leading the core accounting operations as we continue scaling our high-growth SaaS business and prepare for public company readiness. Reporting directly to the CAO, the Corporate Controller will oversee accounting operations, reporting accuracy, compliance, and internal controls, while partnering closely with peer leaders across Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, Tax, and Treasury.
Must have:
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including time as a Controller, VP, or equivalent in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
  • CPA required
  • Demonstrated success leading accounting teams through IPO preparation and/or operating as a public company
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting, with strong awareness of SEC reporting requirements
  • Proven record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams and implementing scalable systems and processes
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with rigor, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Manage the GL, AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework aligned with SOX requirements
  • Build SEC-ready processes, policies, and documentation

About the Team:

The Finance team is responsible for efficiently driving the creation of enterprise value by supporting capital allocation decisions across the business. We exist to help the company make intelligent, data-driven decisions through financial analysis; scenario modeling; tracking, interpreting and disseminating key performance indicators; and by serving as a critical thought partner to senior leadership.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proven, strategic, and hands-on accounting leader to serve as our Corporate Controller. This role will be instrumental in leading the core accounting operations as we continue scaling our high-growth SaaS business and prepare for public company readiness.

Reporting directly to the CAO, the Corporate Controller will oversee accounting operations, reporting accuracy, compliance, and internal controls, while partnering closely with peer leaders across Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, Tax, and Treasury. Together, this leadership team will ensure the company’s financial foundation is strong, scalable, and fully aligned with the requirements of a future public company.

This is a highly visible leadership position requiring an experienced operator who thrives in high-growth environments, is detail-oriented, and can drive organizational maturity while maintaining agility.

Who You Are:

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including time as a Controller, VP, or equivalent in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • CPA required; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading accounting teams through IPO preparation and/or operating as a public company.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting, with strong awareness of SEC reporting requirements.
  • Proven record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams and implementing scalable systems and processes
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical accounting into actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and cross-functional partnership skills.

What You’ll Do:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting organization with strong people leadership, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Partner with the CAO and peer functional leaders (Technical Accounting & Reporting, Tax, Treasury) to align priorities and deliver on enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Build succession planning and talent development programs to sustain long-term team excellence.

Core Accounting Operations

  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with rigor, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Manage the GL, AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions, ensuring efficient, scalable operations.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report cycles.

Controls, Processes & Systems

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework aligned with SOX requirements.
  • Optimize use of ERP and related technology to support scalable reporting and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies while partnering cross-functionally on enterprise system initiatives.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Legal, HR, and business unit leaders to align accounting with company strategy and operations.
  • Provide the CAO and executive team with actionable insights to support strategic initiatives, capital raises, and M&A activity.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the CAO and peer Directors, ensuring seamless integration of accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury disciplines.

Public Company Readiness

  • Build SEC-ready processes, policies, and documentation in partnership with the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting.
  • Establish the reporting, disclosure, and control environment needed for IPO readiness.
  • Stay ahead of evolving accounting guidance and regulatory requirements impacting SaaS businesses.
