Job Description

Vidsy is hiring a Creative to lead end-to-end production of social content for top brands. The role involves generating creative concepts, bringing them to life from concept to final delivery, and directing the External Creator Community. The candidate will work with Strategists, Client Solutions Managers, and Motion Designers. The ideal candidate should be social-savvy and passionate about creating engaging and results-driven content.
Must have:
  • 2–4+ years of content production experience
  • Agency or consultancy experience with various clients
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms
  • A strong creative mindset for concepting
  • Client-facing experience in pitching concepts
  • Based in the Toronto, Ontario area
Good to have:
  • Strong portfolio of paid/organic social content
  • Ability to brief Creatives and Designers
  • Solid understanding of video production
  • Interest and/or experience utilizing AI

About The Role
Vidsy is hiring for a talented Creative to join the Team, and lead end-to-end production of social content for top brands like Meta, L’Oréal, Warner Bros, Unilever, and Google. 🔥

In this fast-paced role, you’ll be responsible for generating exciting creative concepts and ideas, then bringing them to life from concept to final delivery. Working with Strategists, Client Solutions Managers, and Motion Designers, you’ll direct our External Creator Community (over 20,000 strong!) and collaborate with our in-house Design Team to produce high-performing social video content. If you’re social-savvy, full of fresh ideas, and passionate about crafting engaging, results-driven content, we’d love to hear from you!

Must-haves:

    • 2–4+ years of content production experience, including managing end-to-end production.
    • Agency or consultancy experience with a diverse range of clients and industries.
    • A deep understanding of social, the latest social trends, and across multiple platforms (TikTok, Meta, Snap, etc)
    • A strong creative mindset and a passion for concepting—whether it’s beauty, retail, gaming, entertainment, or beyond, you generate standout ideas.
    • Client-facing experience, from pitching concepts to taking briefs and delivering top-tier content.
    • You’re based in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Nice-to-haves:

    • A strong portfolio of paid and/or organic social content.
    • Proven ability to brief Creatives, including UGC Content Creators, Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, and Video Editors.
    • A solid understanding of video production—experience with Adobe Suite is a plus.
    • An interest and/or experience utilising AI.
$55,000 - $75,000 a year

Who You’ll Report To
You’ll report to Remi, our Creative Director, who’s been with Vidsy since 2019. Remi helped establish our North American presence, launching first in NYC and now expanding into Toronto. Known for fostering high-performing teams, mentoring talent, and driving creative success, he also brings a fun side to the mix - he’s particularly partial to a Pickle Back during company socials!

The Interview Process
📞 20 minutes – Introductory call with a member of our Talent Team.
👩‍💻 60 minutes – Video interview with Remi to discuss the role and your experience.
📚 Task –  An opportunity to show off your Creativity!
90 minutes 🧑‍💻 –  Final interview with team members, including presenting back your task response, and exploring how your experience aligns to our Vidsy Values (Raise the Bar, Learn Everyday, Unleash Creativity & Be Brave)

We require all new team members to be based locally to their regional hub from day one, but offer the flexibility to access office space as needed, or whenever it best supports your productivity and collaboration.
