Paytm Ads is seeking a Creative Design Lead to manage the visual communication strategy for in-app ad campaigns, marketing collateral, and innovation projects within the Paytm Ads ecosystem. This role involves end-to-end design responsibilities, from stakeholder communication and creative strategy to hands-on design execution and team management. The lead will collaborate with business, marketing, and product teams to deliver high-impact, performance-oriented creatives. Responsibilities include leading the design development for various ad formats, managing and mentoring junior designers, liaising with stakeholders for campaign alignment, designing marketing materials, and optimizing creatives based on performance metrics. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing creative guidelines and streamlining design processes.
Must have:
- 8-10 years of experience in creative or visual design
- 1-2 years in a lead or managerial role
- Strong portfolio of marketing collaterals, digital banners, video snippets, ad creatives
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) & Figma
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Good to have:
- Basic knowledge of motion/animation
- Experience working with external clients or brand teams
- Background in ad-tech, digital marketing, or performance marketing

About the Role:
We’re seeking a Creative Design Lead to own and drive the visual communication strategy for in-app ad campaigns, marketing collaterals, and innovation projects across the Paytm Ads ecosystem.
As the Creative Design Lead, you'll manage end-to-end design responsibilities from stakeholder communication and creative strategy to hands-on design execution and team management. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with business, marketing, and product teams to deliver high-impact, performance-oriented creatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Direction & Execution
Lead the design development for in-app ad creatives, banners, videos, and marketing campaigns.Translate briefs into strong visual concepts aligned with brand and campaign goals.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing feedback and quality control.Liaise with internal stakeholders, category teams, account managers, and product owners to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
Cross-Platform Visual Communication
Design marketing collaterals including case studies, sales decks, social media creatives, and video assets.Work on campaigns tailored for both merchants and consumers across categories.
Creative Testing & Performance Optimisation
Lead bi-weekly A/B testing of creatives and derive learnings from ad performance metrics like CTR and ecpm.
Process & System Design
Contribute to developing creative guidelines and templates for Paytm’s self-serve ad platform.Streamline design processes and maintain consistency in visual language.
Qualifications:
-8–10 years of experience in creative or visual design, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or managerial role.
-Strong portfolio showcasing marketing collaterals, digital banners, video snippets, and ad creatives.
-Proficiency in tools like: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) & Figma
-Basic knowledge of motion/animation is a plus.
-Excellent communication and project management skills.-Experience working with external clients or brand teams.
