JYSK, a rapidly expanding Scandinavian-inspired bedding, furniture, and decoration brand with over 3400 stores worldwide, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant for its French and French-speaking Belgian operations. This role, based at the Peltre (Metz) headquarters, involves managing customer inquiries and complaints via various remote channels (calls, emails, chat). The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, customer-focused, and proficient in French and English, contributing to service objectives and ensuring optimal collaboration with stores and other departments.
Must have:
  • Respond to customer requests via various channels (calls, emails, chat)
  • Address customer complaints quickly and qualitatively to ensure satisfaction
  • Process requests regarding undelivered or delayed orders
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys via phone, email, and chat
  • Make additional sales
  • Contribute to achieving department objectives and performance indicators
  • Support stores and ensure optimal collaboration between stores and customer service
  • Collaborate with other head office departments, distribution centers, and transporters

We are looking for our customer service department: a Customer Service Assistant (m/f) for JYSK France and JYSK Belgium (French-speaking).

Job Description

Under the responsibility of the Customer Service Manager, you will contribute to the smooth running of the department.

As a customer service assistant, your missions will be:

  • Respond to customer requests through various channels (calls, emails, chat, etc.)
  • Respond to customer complaints and satisfy them as quickly and qualitatively as possible
  • Process requests concerning undelivered or delayed orders
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys by phone, email, and chat with our customers
  • Make additional sales
  • Contribute to achieving the department's objectives and performance indicators
  • Support our stores and ensure optimal collaboration between stores and customer service
  • You will also collaborate with other head office departments, our distribution centers, and our transporters

Qualifications

You have a diploma (Bac+2 or +3) in customer service, and ideally, you have a first experience in a similar position.

You have excellent customer contact skills, you are positive and attentive.

You know how to be convincing and make customer satisfaction a priority.

You are fast, organized, and reactive.

You have a perfect command of French, both spoken and written.

You are able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.

You master computer tools and Pack Office.

Additional Information

The position is based at our French head office in Peltre (Metz). You will work for our customers in JYSK France and Belgium (French-speaking), exclusively remotely (email, chat, phone, etc.).

We offer a permanent contract (CDI) for 35 hours/week, for a start as soon as possible (start modalities can be discussed by mutual agreement between JYSK and the selected candidate).
