Job Description

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is currently seeking a Data Scientist to help our team on their next adventure. The Data Analyst will support insight initiatives for our Data team. This person will report to the Data & Analytics Manager.

Your daily adventure:

• Turning data into actionable insights, by performing hands-on research, data exploration and analysis, to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
• Work with the game teams to provide insights into user behaviour, answer key business questions and support in AB test design and analysis.
• Carry out projects on machine learning for behavioural segmentation and monetization.
• Debugging and problem-solving issues to ensure the delivery of accurate and clear analysis, reports and tools.
• Effectively communicate results and insights to senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Coordinate, challenge and share the best analytical practices and methods within the organization.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Machine Learning technologies and Data Science trends.
• Contribute to the knowledge base and culture of the team.

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning...). PhD in any of these disciplines is a plus.
• 3+ years relevant work experience in similar positions, ideally in mobile gaming industry.
• Highly proficient in SQL as well as Python or R for data exploratory analysis
• Solid knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, etc.
• Strong analytical skills in applied statistics or econometrics, fluency in data analysis and data storytelling.
• Experience designing effective ways of communicating, visualising or reporting results/analysis.
• Experience implementing ML models with Python/R.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to details.
• Good command of English.
• Work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position is a must.
