Must have:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or MBA from ABET accredited university.
Experience developing Performance Standards and surface feasibility proposals.
Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience.
Experience with Tooling feasibility in Injection molded plastics/Decorative components.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship building skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Willingness to present to Management.
Ability to lead colleagues, direct, teach, and inspire.
Strong technical knowledge of plastic and mechanism design and system interfaces.

Ability to interface professionally with customers and cross-functional teams.

Design for Six Sigma DFSS experienced (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
Shainin Green Belt
Green/black belt in Shainin or DFSS desirable
CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experiences on Powertrain structure

Description:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and or MBA from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent)
Knowledge Lighting Development, Lighting Measurement, Lighting Simulation using SPEOS or any other simulation tools
Experience developing Performance Standards, Creating master sections and Surface feasibility proposal for PDO
Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis
Design for Six Sigma DFSS experienced (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), Shainin Green Belt
NX and Teamcenter knowledge
Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience
Experience with Tooling feasibility in Injection molded plastics/Decorative components
Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environment
Knowledge of Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), FEA, Mold Flow Virtual Validation, GD&T, and i-Speed

Knowledge of Quality Methods and tools (Green Belt -- DFSS/Reactive, SBT, 3L5Y)
Knowledge of radio head unit software and hardware architectures and corresponding vehicle system architecture

Some travel required to Supplier and Corporate Engine/Transmission / Vehicle Assembly Plants -- including Canada & Mexico.
Green/black belt in Shainin or DFSS desirable.
CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experiences on Powertrain structure
Hands-on involvement in the repair/modification of a vehicle, home or other technically complex project.
Working knowledge of Casting and Injection Molding processes.
Knowledge of FCA Systems and/or products a plus
Strong communications skills and ability to convey technical information for understanding to various audiences (management/non-technical)
Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
Basic understanding of power electronics and devices
Understanding of electrical engineering protocols and standards
Working technical knowledge in applications engineering and product design/development (specifically within an automotive context)
