Job Description

This Design Verification Lead role at Google involves leading functional verification for IPs and SoCs. Responsibilities include being the primary contact for cross-functional teams, participating in defining verification strategies, and developing high-performance, low-power hardware. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in functional verification using SystemVerilog and UVM, experience with SoC or large ASIC verification, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl. The role requires collaboration with architecture, design, silicon validation, and software teams to achieve bug-free silicon in complex SoCs. The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Good To Have:

Master's degree in CS or EE
Formal verification, Gate Level Simulation, UPF based Power simulations experience

Must Have:

5+ years experience in IP/SoC functional verification
SystemVerilog and UVM expertise
Experience leading verification of SoCs or large ASICs
Cross-functional team leadership
Scripting skills (Python, Perl)

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in driving/leading functional verification for Intellectual Properties (IPs) and System-on-a-Chip (SoCs).
Experience working with System Verilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading design verification of an SoC or large ASICs.
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and analysis.
Technical experience in different verification techniques and methodologies, including formal, Gate Level Simulation, Unified Power Format based Power simulations, UVM, etc. to achieve bug-free Silicon in complex SoC.
Experience in driving cross-functional teams for high quality tape-outs.
