Broadcom is seeking a highly qualified DFT Engineer to contribute to integrated connectivity products. The role requires an MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in ASIC DFT development for high-speed data center networking. Key responsibilities include DFT architecture for chip and block level IPs, expertise in scan insertion, coverage, boundary scan, fault simulation, MBIST, Logic BIST, JTAG, and experience with DFT tools like Genus, ATPG, GLS, and timing analysis. The position also involves silicon bring-up and debug.
Must have:
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in ASIC DFT development for serial high-speed data center networking.
  • Experience as a DFT architect for chip and block level IPs.
  • Good understanding of Scan insertion, scan coverage, Boundary scan, fault simulation, MBIST, Logic BIST, JTAG.
  • Experience with scan stitching, data uncompression/compression and tap controller.
  • Experience with Genus or similar DFT tools for synthesis scripts and constraints generation.
  • Familiarity with high speed DFT design rules (~2GHz) and multi clock domain architectures.
  • Experience with ATPG tools to generate verilog and ATE vectors and cross verification.
  • Experience with GLS and timing analysis.
  • Experience with silicon bring-up & debug, memory and scan diagnostics.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $192,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
