Responsibilities:

• Setting up guidelines for maintainability, scalability, and security of the code base.
• Building a simple scalable system.
• Devops tasks to manage the app on production.
• Setting up testing/code review guidelines in the team.
• Laying out the technology architecture for both immediate and long term. Developing and managing the entire back end tech of the products.
• Devops experience, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Writing and implementing efficient code with Test Driven Development. Developing quality assurance procedures
• In a nutshell: you need to architect + code + manage.

Requirements

• Experience with backend development with NodeJS architecture including Live Streaming, WebSockets, Redis, Postgres, MongoDB, Payments and Wallets.
• Min experience of 4 years in NodeJs.
• Experience in Devops on AWS is highly preferred.
• Experience of building a customer facing app is preferred.
• Experience scaling up systems and securing the system.
• Good understanding of Databases, Logging and Messaging Queues is a must
