Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Marketing for its Sales Cloud Portfolio & Keynote team. This role involves developing and executing compelling narratives for Sales Cloud innovations across major events, pitch decks, and customer stories. Responsibilities include refining portfolio messaging, leading keynote presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing marketing assets, supporting product launches, analyzing market intelligence, and managing complex projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in product marketing, strong executive presence, exceptional communication and storytelling skills, and a proven track record in enterprise software or SaaS products.

We are looking for an exceptional product marketing director to join our dynamic Sales Cloud team. As our Sales Cloud Portfolio & Keynote lead, you will be the driving force behind our overarching narrative—responsible for translating Sales Cloud innovations into compelling, cohesive, and impactful messages across events, pitch decks, customer stories, and more. This role is all about simplifying complex concepts, crafting stories that are human and easy to relate to, highlighting customer success, and remaining grounded in a deep understanding of our products & features.

A significant and exciting aspect of this role is the ownership of our major keynote presentations. You will be the creative force behind the Sales Cloud narratives delivered on our biggest stages, including Dreamforce, Salesforce World Tours, key third-party events, and internal company-wide gatherings. This requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and meticulous execution.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Messaging & Positioning: Develop and refine the core messaging and positioning for the entire Sales Cloud portfolio, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compelling differentiation across all external and internal communications.

  • Keynote & Executive Presentation Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development and execution of high-impact keynote presentations for major events (Dreamforce, World Tours, etc.), including narrative development, slide creation, scripting, demo integration, and speaker coaching for executive leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Cloud leaders (GM, CMO), Product Management, and fellow Product Marketers to translate product capabilities into customer benefits and market-facing stories that align to business strategy.

  • Content & Asset Development: Articulate the Sales Cloud value proposition across a range of foundational marketing assets, including core pitch decks, customer success stories, event content, and enablement materials.

  • Product Launch & GTM Support: Collaborate with product marketing teams on major product launches, ensuring the portfolio narrative is integrated seamlessly into go-to-market strategies.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay on top of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to continuously refine messaging and identify new opportunities for differentiation.

  • Project Management: Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

  • Team Leadership: Lead across the team on all initiatives, coaching others to ensure high-quality output.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field, with a strong focus on enterprise software or SaaS products, preferably within CRM or sales technology.

  • Demonstrated expertise in messaging and positioning complex product portfolios for diverse audiences.

  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply and persuasively.

  • Extensive experience in crafting and delivering high-stakes executive presentations, including strong slide-building and scripting skills.

  • Experience coaching and preparing executive speakers for major public appearances.

  • Ability to integrate compelling product demonstrations into narratives.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving go-to-market strategies with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
