As a Product & Sales Engineer, you will define and implement the strategy for the satellite platform electronics product line, specifically for power conditioning and distribution equipment. Your role involves in-depth market analysis, defining product value propositions, and presenting product plans to management. You will also be responsible for product marketing, supporting sales teams, and ensuring product development aligns with objectives, contributing to growth in the communication satellite market.

  • Define a marketing action plan for products.
  • Participate in offer process reviews and validate compliance.
  • Support sales teams and participate in client meetings.

Our avionics team is currently looking for a Product & Sales Engineer (M,F,X) for its Sales & Marketing team.

What would be your mission?

You are responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for the satellite platform electronics product line for power conditioning and distribution equipment.

What would your daily life be like?

Your tasks are structured around two main axes:

Product Management

  • You carry out an in-depth analysis of global market trends, customer needs, segmentation, and competition for your product line in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • You define a strong value proposition, clear competitive positioning, and distinct differentiation for your product line.
  • You are responsible for preparing and presenting product plans during decision-making reviews to management.
  • You control and monitor your product line and its competitiveness.
  • You work closely with product development managers to ensure the achievement of product development and qualification objectives.
  • You define the specifications for the products in your line and monitor their development with the engineering teams.

Product and Offer Marketing

  • You are responsible for defining a marketing action plan for your products and appropriate communication materials.
  • You participate in the preparation of offer process reviews and validate their compliance with the product policy and, if necessary, you assume the role of offer manager.
  • You support the sales teams and participate in meetings with clients, prospects, and partners.
  • You contribute to the growth objectives of products in different markets.

Who are we looking for to take on this challenge?

  • You are an engineer by training and have, at a minimum, significant first experience, ideally, in the space sector or a related field.
  • You possess general technical knowledge in the field of DC/DC power converters for power subsystems.
  • You have the skills or the desire to develop in B2B marketing.
  • You are ready to work in a rapidly changing environment and want to manage a product portfolio for the communication satellite market.
  • You have leadership qualities and a developed business sense.
  • You possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are proficient in English and French, both orally and in writing.
