Job Description

Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing air surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification. As part of improving a secure remote access system and its certification, we are looking for an intern to join a dynamic team working on the continuous improvement of security for various integration networks. You will participate in identifying functional and performance requirements, analyzing regulatory constraints, and evolving the existing system. You will also help identify and analyze user problems, propose solutions, prototype, implement, and test modifications, and participate in system administration and security analyses.

Must Have:
  • Participate in identifying functional and performance requirements
  • Participate in analyzing regulatory constraints and their applicability
  • Participate in analyzing the existing system to identify evolution points
  • Participate in identifying frequently encountered user problems and analyze their root cause
  • Participate in drafting a synthesis note to decide on system evolutions
  • Prototype, implement, and test modifications, deploy the new system
  • Participate in connecting "client" machines
  • Participate in drafting administration, MCO, and MCS procedures
  • Participate in system administration: MCO, MCS, performance improvement
  • Preparing a Bac+5 level degree in network cybersecurity
  • Knowledge in network administration & analysis (Wireshark, DHCP, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, SSH, HTTPS, RTSP, LDAP, TACATS, RADIUS, SNMP, TLS…)
  • Proficiency in configuring network equipment (Firewall, switches..)
  • Proficiency in technical English
  • Be rigorous, proactive, curious, and flexible
  • Ability to solve problems, evaluate priorities & possess a strong team spirit

As part of improving a secure remote access system and its certification, we are looking for an intern to join a dynamic team working on the continuous improvement of security for various integration networks.

You will be involved in teamwork around the following points:

  • Participate in identifying functional and performance requirements,
  • Participate in analyzing regulatory constraints and their applicability,
  • Participate in analyzing the existing system to identify evolution points to meet new requirements and respond to constraints,
  • Participate in identifying the most frequently encountered problems by users (throughput, connectivity loss, etc.) and analyze their root cause,
  • Participate in drafting a synthesis note to decide whether to evolve the current system, separate it into two distinct systems, or change implementation, support, product, or technology,
  • Prototype, implement, and test modifications, deploy the new system or a new version of the current system according to the decision communicated to you,
  • Participate in connecting "client" machines,
  • Participate in drafting administration, MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition), and MCS (Maintenance in Security Condition) procedures that will be applied by system administrators,
  • Participate in system administration: MCO, MCS, performance improvement,
  • Depending on your interest, participate in security analyses and certification processes.

Your profile

You are preparing a Bac+5 level degree in network cybersecurity.

You have an interest in cybersecurity.

You have knowledge in network administration & analysis (Wireshark, DHCP, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, SSH, HTTPS, RTSP, LDAP, TACATS, RADIUS, SNMP, TLS…).

You are proficient in configuring network equipment (Firewall, switches..),

You are proficient in technical English.

You are rigorous, proactive, curious, and flexible.

You know how to solve problems, evaluate priorities & have a strong team spirit.
