Network Administrator

This role is for a Network Administrator in Nadi, Fiji, for a 2-month contract. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and administering Cisco switching, routing, Catalyst Center, ISE, and wireless infrastructure. Key duties also include deploying and managing FortiGate firewalls, ensuring network security compliance, maintaining NMS, performing capacity planning, and supporting VoIP services. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5-6 years of experience are required.

Must Have

• Deploy and manage FortiGate firewalls
• Implement and administer Cisco switching and routing
• Administer Cisco Catalyst Center and ISE
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless infrastructure
• Ensure network security compliance (GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
• Implement and maintain Network Management Systems and monitoring tools
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
• Maintain detailed network documentation
• Support VoIP services and ensure QoS
• Enable secure Guest Wi-Fi and BYOD
• Conduct RF site surveys
• Coordinate with OEM TAC support

##### Role and Responsibility Details:

• Implementation & administration of Cisco switching and routing: VLANs, ACLs, STP/RSTP/MST, HSRP, QoS, multicast, High-Availability.
• Implementation & administration of Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center): device onboarding, SWIM, templates, Assurance, SD-Access.
• Implementation & administration of Cisco ISE: 802.1X, MAB, guest/BYOD portals, TACACS+, AD/LDAP integration, SGT/TrustSec.
• Implement, configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless infrastructure: WLCs, SSIDs, RF planning, roaming, voice over Wi-Fi.
• Deploy and manage FortiGate firewalls: NGFW policies, IPS, Web filtering, SSL/SSH inspection, IPsec/SSL VPNs, SD-WAN, HA, captive portal, Identity Awareness, Traffic Shaping, QoS, Integration with LDAP, RADIUS, Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA.
• Ensure network security compliance with standards like GDPR, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
• Implement and maintain Network Management Systems (NMS), monitoring tools, and alerting mechanisms.

• Deploy centralized management tools (cloud/on-prem) for network devices.
• Coordinate with OEM TAC support for raising issues and ensuring faster resolutions.
• Good to have experience with FortiAnalyzer for log analysis and reporting.
