CatFace is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Ecomm Operations Manager to oversee and streamline all aspects of its e-commerce operations across multiple digital storefronts, including DTC, Amazon, Walmart, and more. This role is responsible for managing order fulfillment, logistics, inventory, and customer service while ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a skilled multitasker and strong communicator with deep knowledge of e-commerce platforms and processes, including SEO, email marketing, and customer experience management. This position will analyze performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to drive efficiency, boost sales, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Merchandise Operations Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align business objectives and ensure seamless execution across all sales channels.
Good To Have:
  • Experience within the consumer goods, retail, or entertainment sectors

Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or merchandise management
  • Proven track record of managing digital storefronts and driving sales growth
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, OMS, and analytics tools
  • Experience with SEO and email marketing integration
  • Skilled in forecasting, reporting, and analyzing KPIs
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations workflows

In addition to day-to-day operations, this role will analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that drive efficiency, boost sales, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Merchandise Operations Manager will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align business objectives and ensure seamless execution across all sales channels.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to optimize website performance, enhance the customer journey, and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure the site aligns with brand strategy, delivers a seamless UX, and meets functionality and aesthetic standards.
  • Create and maintain an online business plan, including short- and long-term goals, sales targets, growth initiatives, and performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as traffic, conversions, bounce rates, and customer behavior, and recommend improvements based on insights.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and reports, using historical data and market trends to guide planning and execution across digital storefronts.
  • Manage day-to-day online activity, including traffic acquisition, SEO, email marketing integration, sales tracking, and A/B testing to optimize conversions.
  • Establish and enforce e-commerce operations policies and procedures, ensuring smooth execution across order fulfillment, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Identify and evaluate new e-commerce opportunities, such as emerging platforms, technologies, or sales channels that align with business goals.
  • Manage conflict resolution and problem-solving across internal teams, customers, or platform-related challenges, maintaining operational continuity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, design, and logistics teams to align strategies, ensure on-time campaign execution, and maintain brand integrity.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or merchandise management, preferably within the consumer goods, retail, or entertainment sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing digital storefronts (DTC, Amazon, Walmart, etc.) and driving sales growth through data-driven strategy.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, CMS tools, order management systems (OMS), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, etc.).
  • Experience with SEO, email marketing integration, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Skilled in forecasting, reporting, and analyzing KPIs to drive operational improvements.
  • Familiarity with inventory and logistics coordination, including working with 3PLs and retail partners.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations workflows, including fulfillment, returns, and customer service.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process improvement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and collaborate across departments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
