Job Location: St. Peters, Sydney, NSW

ABOUT CAE:

Further, you will also support our Perth facility, ensuring consistent EHS practices across both locations.

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS). This hybrid role also includes light logistics coordination to support our technical operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) – 70%

  • Support the implementation of CAE’s EHSMS in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Conduct and assist with EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Monitor compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations
  • Assist with the management of hazardous materials and substances
  • Coordinate EHS training and awareness initiatives
  • Maintain EHS documentation and records
  • Support the development and review of EHS policies and procedures
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Participate in EHS management reviews and improvement projects

Logistics & Facility Support – 30%

  • Assist with basic logistics tasks such as receiving and tracking parts and consumables
  • Coordinate maintenance service requests for facility equipment
  • Support 5S initiatives and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
  • Perform periodic checks on tools and equipment as per EHS procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an EHS or technical support role
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards would be highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A passion for safety, sustainability and continuous improvement
