International FP&A Business Partner
Job Description
- IFRS knowledge
- Act as Finance Business Partner with international management.
- Develop strong commercial understanding of the business.
- Monitor programs, projects, opportunities, and risks.
- Support monthly financial forecast and yearly budget.
- Support non-cash working Capital (NCWC) reduction and ROCE improvement initiatives.
- Provide proactive financial and business analytics, including KPIs and modeling.
- Support complex projects with financial modeling, trend, sensitivity, profitability, and pricing analyses.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance within International Region.
- University Degree in accounting, controlling, or finance.
- Five to ten years of relevant experience.
- Strong Financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
- Experience in a multinational company.
- Ability to learn financial software applications (e.g., Oracle).
- Good analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
- Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

About This Role
- Act as Finance Business Partner including close communication and cooperation with management of International region and sub-regions and support business decisions
- Develop a strong commercial understanding of the business
- Monitor programs and projects. Identification and monitoring of opportunities and risks.
- Support realizing synergies and harmonizing structures and tools within International Region
- Support the consolidated monthly financial forecast and yearly budget
- Support non-cash working Capital (NCWC) reduction and ROCE improvement initiatives
- Provide proactive support with financial and business analytics to the Business; Includes performing general and customized analyses; develop value added KPIs, financial and decision modeling, and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Support complex projects across the business which include financial modeling, trend analyses, sensitivity analyses, profitability analyses, pricing
- Support initiatives to ensure regulatory and legal compliance within International Region and comply with CAE’s Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P).
- Act as contact persons to our headquarters in Canada and in the USA.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education and Experience)
- Education Requirements
- University Degree in accounting, controlling, finance
- Experience Requirements
- Five to ten years of relevant experience
- Strong Financial reporting skills.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience in multinational company. Ability to work with different teams globally
- Ability to learn the use of financial software applications (e.g. Oracle)
- IFRS knowledge is a benefit
- Good analytical, technical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlines
- Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Travel required from time to time
