Engineering Manager- Gaming

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Backend team of Engineers and QA specialists within the Gaming Domain. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

As our Engineering Manager you will:

• Leading and managing a team of 10 people, ensuring timely deliveries and alignment with company goals and OKRs.
• Overseeing development and maintenance of the Gaming domain in our Player Account Management-system, focusing on integrations, product development, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with the Product Manager and Domain Architect to drive major architectural changes and implement new features in the Platform for scalability, performance, and modernization.
• Promoting a culture of innovation, transparency, and trust within the team, fostering an environment conducive to high performance and growth.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Solid engineering background, spending at least 5+ years working as an engineer.
• Strong people management and leadership skills with at least 2+ years of managing a team.
• Experience in leading and developing people and teams through goals, inspiration, transparency and trust.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring agile software development teams.
• Ability to lead and inspire others in a high pace, high velocity and changing environment.
• Solid understanding of scalable, highly concurrent and fault tolerant systems.
• A passionate leader with experience of running workshops, facilitating retrospectives and experience from supporting tools such as JIRA.

NICE TO HAVES

• Previous experience in the iGaming industry.
• Familiarity with our current tech stack including Java/Kotlin.
