The E.W Scripps Company is seeking a Enterprise Strategy Consumer Engagement Manager. This individual will collaborate with Consumer Strategy and Marketing team to drive consumer engagement across paid, partner and owned media in an effort to support acquisitions and retention goals. Execute projects that support strategies, evaluate performance of programs/campaigns and provide recommendations and optimizations to improve performance.What You'll Do:
- Maximize monetization potential through increased adoption and retention of our brands.
- Drive viewership of priority content and meeting mutually identified goals with internal and external partners.
- Lead the testing & optimization efforts, based on analytics/research to support the customer acquisition and retention efforts focused on all consumer engagement projects.
- Support the execution of paid retailer media programs with a focus on customer acquisition performance and optimization and a primary attention to key retailers, as well as the “growth areas” for distribution (B2B, installers etc).
- Collaborate with Free ad-supported television (FAST) head of analytics and the marketing team to evaluate marketing performance data and provide recommendations, execute tests and experiments to lower acquisition costs and drive engagement.
- Support viewership monetization goals (specifically for FAST and OTA channels), execute content-marketing and promotions that drive new acquisition and drive deeper engagement among current FAST consumers.
- Execute research-based and data analytics support that leverages consumer insights to inform marketing, editorial and business decisions.
- Oversee the analytics and optimizations for the Scripps Research Library to drive engagement of the and consumer research reports.
- Support The Free TV Project by overseeing the analytics, insights and optimizations from its consumer engagement and acquisition efforts, including the testing and optimization of paid media efforts.
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
- Generally, 8+ years of experience in related field preferred; certification is required in some areas
- 5+ years of experience in media buying at an advertising agency preferred
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis environment preferred
- Expertise in media, marketing, customer acquisition
- Expertise in data research
- Familiar with primary research survey analysis
- Hands on experience with audience ratings systems and digital measurement platforms
- Ability to work with web analytics systems, ad serving platforms, email campaign management systems and social media management systems
- Hands-on experience on managing marketing campaigns including PPC, various advertising networks, retargeting etc.
- Professional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Team player with ability to work collaboratively while supporting multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and high motivation and passion for your work
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- High attention to detail
- Ability to tackle new initiatives with a can-do attitude
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects
