- Design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation and automation systems for facilities supporting manufacturing, data center and labs.
- Develop new control systems and modify existing ones to enhance performance and reliability.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, providing engineering solutions to rectify issues.
- Prepare engineering assessments and provide technical direction on construction designs.
- Manage projects within cost and time constraints, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff, liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Assist in purchasing equipment, writing program codes, and developing new business proposals.
- Analyze data and present findings in written reports, offering consultancy support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with instrumentation devices, including measurement of pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, and analytical platforms such as Cimplicity and Rockwell Automation Logix.
- Experience with industrial automation platforms, including GE Cimplicity and Rockwell Automation Logix PLC products, GE SCADA systems, and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of standard industrial Mechanical, Electrical, and Process (MEP) systems to support troubleshooting and integrating control changes.
- Familiarity with industry-standard instrumentation devices and ability to develop instrumentation installation drawings, data sheets, P and ID drawings for control systems and PLC/SCADA interface systems.
