Job Description
Enphase Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment in Hawaii. This role involves providing on-site support to distribution and installation partners, ensuring best-in-class service. Responsibilities include traveling to customer locations, servicing Enphase PV and Storage systems, scheduling site visits, performing diagnostics and testing, completing maintenance reports, updating monitoring systems, and utilizing various tools for installation tasks. The technician will also run conduit, copper pipe, flex, and pull wire, participate in safety trainings, maintain tools, and provide prompt customer service. Additional duties include teaching installation techniques, reviewing designs, managing parts, working independently, and improving processes while adhering to high workmanship standards and OSHA safety procedures. The role requires availability for extended work hours and may involve work on roofs, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Must have:
- 2+ years of electrical installation and service experience
- Valid state driver license, insurable, clean DMV
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to safety procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
- Ability to read and implement plan sets
Good to have:
- Commercial or Residential Electrical license
- NABCEP certification

About the role
Enphase Energy is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 6 month temporary assignment to provide on-site support to our Distribution and Installation Partners. This role will be responsible for making sure best-in-class service is provided.
What you will do
• Travel to cover the area of responsibility of our customers.
• Service Enphase (internal) PV and Storage systems in area of the Field Service Technician.
• Schedule customer site visits and coordinate activities between Enphase CS and system owners.
• Perform onsite testing and diagnostics of system performance and behavior
• Complete solar maintenance reports and paperwork
• Complete microinverter maintenance and update Enlighten monitoring system with changes
• Utilize relevant tools such as drills, level, square, tape measure, ladders, etc.
• Run conduit, copper pipe, flex, and pull wire
• Participate in regular safety trainings
• Maintain tool management standards
• Respond to customer needs promptly; Provide appropriate customer service
• Perform other duties as needed or directed
• Commit to OSHA Standard Safety procedures, above all else on jobsites
• Teach and train crew on proper techniques for installation
• Be detail oriented with the ability to review designs and develop a job specific BOS
• Work independently without oversight
• Commit to improving processes and efficiency, while maintaining high workmanship standards

The base pay range for this position is $29 to $42 an hour. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions.
