Are you a freelance Compositor with experience working in CG heavy scenes looking for your next short term project? REALTIME is seeking 3 talented Senior CG Compositors on a freelance basis for various projects. You will be responsible for all stages of compositing, from prep to completion, working on single shots or sequences within larger scenes. A great eye for composition and color is essential for delivering the best-looking shots possible.
Must have:
  • Work as part of a team under the direction of Directors and VFX Supervisors.
  • Ability to take and execute a brief with good creative problem solving and strong technical knowledge.
  • Analyse the work of a lighting artist and find good creative solutions.
  • Pay very close attention to concepts and references to match a given look.
  • Communicate feedback to our lighting team to ensure we can match the look as a team.
  • Attend dailies when required.
  • Previous professional experience in a similar role working on full CG productions.
  • Great understanding of CG and fully CG rendered sequences.
  • Good knowledge of 3D related CG passes (World, depth etc).
  • Adept in bringing realism to full CG shots.
  • Excellent photographic analytical skills.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
  • Expert senior level Nuke skills are required.
  • Highly adept in applying final finish, film grain, lens kernel aberration etc.
  • High level tech checking skills.

REALTIME is on the lookout for 3 talented Senior CG Compositors on a freelance basis to work across a number of projects.

As a Senior CG Compositor at REALTIME you will be responsible for all stages of compositing from prep to completion. Working on either a single shot or a sequence of shots within a larger scene.

You should have a great eye for composition and colour and be passionate about delivering the best-looking shots possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as part of a team under the direction of Directors and VFX Supervisors.
  • Ability to take and execute a brief, with both good creative problem solving and strong technical knowledge, within an allotted timescale.
  • Analyse the work of a lighting artist and work with them to find good creative solutions.
  • Pay very close attention to concepts and references to match a given look.
  • Communicate feedback to our lighting team to ensure we can match the look as a team.
  • Attend dailies when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous professional experience in a similar role working on full CG productions.
  • Great understanding of CG and fully CG rendered sequences. Good knowledge of 3D related CG passes (World, depth etc)
  • Adept in bringing realism to full CG shots. Excellent photographic analytical skills.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
  • Expert senior level Nuke skills are required.
  • Highly adept in applying final finish, film grain, lens kernel aberration etc.
  • High level tech checking skills.
  • Proven ability to work closely in a small team with tight deadlines.
  • Prioritise and manage your time well, being able to complete your own work on time
  • Excellent and clear communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the English language both written and verbal.
