Job Description

This high-impact role at Marvell's Connectivity Business Unit involves architecting and designing next-generation UIs for advanced optical digital signal processors, coherent optical components, and electrical retimer solutions. The Front End UI Design Architect will create an entirely new, intuitive, and high-performance look and feel for customer and engineer interaction with Marvell solutions, making complex systems beautifully simple. This role drives the user experience vision for AI and Cloud Data Center ecosystems, partnering with global engineering teams to deliver impactful demos and prototypes.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years, Master’s with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 8+ years of professional experience.
  • 10+ years of programming experience (C/C++/Python).
  • 10+ years of UI/UX design and architecture experience.
  • 5+ years with modern GUI frameworks (e.g., Qt, React, or similar).
  • Proven ability to create full demos and prototypes from scratch.
  • Exceptional ability to design human interfaces that convey complex technical information with clarity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for elegant, scalable, and user-focused design.

What We're Looking For

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Graphic Design, or related fields with 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with 8+ years of experience.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • 10+ years of programming experience (C/C++/Python).
  • 10+ years of UI/UX design and architecture experience.
  • 5+ years with modern GUI frameworks (e.g., Qt, React, or similar).
  • Proven ability to create full demos and prototypes from scratch.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Exceptional ability to design human interfaces that convey complex technical information with clarity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for elegant, scalable, and user-focused design.
  • Highly Desired:
  • Knowledge of high-speed communications
  • Familiarity with Ethernet switch software architectures (e.g., SONiC, SAI).

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

170,800 - 252,750, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
