Job Description

The Order Administrator (OA) manages the initial provisioning, replenishment, and re-deployment of all service parts inventory within a specified geographic area in support of the NCR Worldwide Customer Services organization. This role is responsible for attaining and maintaining targeted service level objectives, maximizing asset utilization, and minimizing inventory investment. The OA executes strategies for service parts inventory planning, places orders, monitors back orders, and expedites deliveries.
Must have:
  • Manage initial provisioning, replenishment, and re-deployment of all service parts inventory within a specified geographic area.
  • Attain and maintain targeted service level objectives.
  • Maximize asset utilization and minimize inventory investment.
  • Execute all strategies, programs, and initiatives associated with requirements planning of service parts inventory.
  • Place parts orders, monitor back orders, and expedite deliveries.
  • Maintain targeted service level objectives by daily monitoring of open service calls suspended for parts and left over calls suspended for parts (LOCA).
  • Act as the primary liaison for service parts availability issues between the Area / Country FLS organization and various other organizations.
  • Be knowledgeable in all Field Logistics Operation’s processes and procedures.
  • Have good PC skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of general business methods and practices with an emphasis in materials and logistics management.
  • Works constructively and collaboratively with others and across organizations to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency for customers.
  • Applies functional expertise to improve financial and operational results, and customer satisfaction measurements.
  • Completes job assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Writes, speaks, listens, and presents information effectively and persuasively.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a three-year college or university.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Seeks feedback, leverages experiences and acquires and shares new skills and knowledge to enhance organizational capability and individual competence.
  • Identifies and removes obstacles to ensure organization results are achieved.

Position Summary:

The Order Administrator (OA) manages the initial provisioning, replenishment, and re-deployment of all service parts inventory within a specified geographic area in support of the NCR Worldwide Customer Services organization. Additionally, this person is responsible for: attaining and maintaining targeted service level objectives; maximizing asset utilization; and minimizing inventory investment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes all strategies, programs, and initiatives associated with the requirements planning of service parts inventory for an NCR geographic area.

Places parts orders, monitors back orders, expedites deliveries, and manages inventory levels in support of business requirements.

Maintains targeted service level objectives by daily monitoring of open service calls suspended for parts and left over calls suspended for parts (LOCA).

Acts as the primary liaison for service parts availability issues between the Area / Country FLS organization and various other organizations (including local SS management, Customer Account Team personnel, Logistics Analysts, and various ELC / WSL organizations).

The OA must be knowledgeable in all Field Logistics Operation’s processes and procedures. In addition, the OA is expected to have good PC skills to aid/assist in the completion of essential job responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree from a three-year college or university preferred. One to two years related experience

And /or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
