Smarsh is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Enterprise Archive team. This role involves developing and maintaining a cloud-based platform for storing and managing petabytes of data. The developer will work with technologies like Elastic Search, MongoDB, Storm, Kafka, and Hazelcast to solve complex storage problems. Responsibilities include developing enterprise applications, writing unit tests, and working within an Agile/Scrum environment. The role requires a strong understanding of Core Java, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies like Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. The developer will collaborate with a team that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity, as well as continuous learning.
Must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or MCA
- 3-6 years software development experience
- Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture
- Strong Core Java concepts and APIs knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum
Good to have:
- Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with search engines (Elasticsearch)
- Familiarity with cloud-native development

About Enterprise Archive
Enterprise Archive is a cloud-based platform that stores and handles (archive/ search/discovery) over peta bytes of data. It uses cutting cloud scale (like Elastic Search, Mongo DB, Storm, Kafka, Hazelcast) to solve very complex storage problems at scale.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or MCA, with demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Application Development
- 3 to 6 years of extensive hands-on software development experience
- Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Practical experience with unit testing frameworks such as Karma and Jasmine
- Familiarity with Micro Frontend architectural pattern
- Strong foundational knowledge of Core Java concepts and APIs
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and design principles
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and search engines like Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development, deployment, and management
