We help our clients turn good games to great games, by working as an extension of their own teams day in and day out.

Are you ready for the challenge?

Role Purpose

You will be one of the first people to experience the game and will be part of a dynamic, high performing and multi-disciplined team whose mission is to get the game ready for release.
You’ll have a passion to get things right, excellent attention to detail, a thorough approach, and you’re open to learning new skills and working with colleagues to meet challenging deadlines.
It doesn’t matter if this is your first job or you’ve been working in the industry for years, you’ll want to be part of the best testing team on the planet where every day you’re learning as you work on a variety of different projects.

Key Responsibilities

·        Discovering and reporting bugs in assigned software under test.

·        Following the Universally Speaking test process (or client’s variation) through the whole project’s lifecycle.

·        Recording bugs in a variety of industry standard bug databases depending on client.

·        Regression testing bugs that are marked fixed by developers to check they really are.

·        Create test cases, execute test plans and report on your findings in line with industry standards and best practice.

·        Familiarize yourself and provide qualitive feedback on software under test as required.

·        Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure appropriate coverage and build the understanding required to test the software properly.

·        Work with your colleagues to overcome challenges faced day-to-day.

·        Try new techniques and approaches as required to fulfil the set test requirement.

·        Provide feedback to your team and suggestions for improvements in the way we work.

Measures of Performance

·        Speed and value returned on tasks such as bug discovery and regression.

·        Written quality, precision, and accuracy of relevant information provided in bug reports.

·        Quality of created test plans and execution rates.

·        Team working and communication.

·        Knowledge of QA workflow and techniques.

While this job specification illustrates the fundamentals of the role, it is not exhaustive, and you may be asked from time to time adapt to challenges or take on additional responsibilities in line to ensure successful delivery of set projects.

Performance is measured on a twice-yearly basis via our PDP system, considering the points above, as well as attitude and attendance to give a balanced overall review.
